Mechanical Design Engineer

The Job:

- Responsible for design conceptualization, CAD detailing, debug and commission of high precision, high speed electro-mechanical system/equipment

- Review and continuously improve machine designs, features and work processes

- Support RFQ proposal, documentation for manual, ECN, work instruction, specification and test plan

- Support product migration from prototype to volume production

- Conduct installation, training and troubleshooting of machines in-house or at customers’ sites

- Work with vendors on component sourcing, testing and selection

Requirements

- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the automation, semiconductor or SMT industry

- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, Solid Edge and Solid Works

- Knowledge of GD&T, FMEA, DOE and root cause analysis is an added advantage

- Must be willing to travel
